We are thrilled to announce that our Lead Mechanic of 19 years, Hugo Valadez, won the 2021 Excellence in Maintenance award.

Hugo Valadez has been Atech’s lead mechanic for over 19 years and has done a remarkable job of keeping our fleet safe and compliant. Hugo’s commitment to safe practices, thorough inspections, rigorous training and high standards has been instrumental in keeping our people and the public safe.

Hugo manages three maintenance technicians and oversees the company’s fleet of over 200 power units and trailers spread out over 14 locations in five states. His commitment to safety, his dedication to ensuring our fleet is safe to operate, and his knowledge and expertise has proven time and time again that he is well deserving of this award.
